Some other examples of predjudice that Mr. Walsh has heard of:
  1) Ms. Osti says many people think she works at a "snack" (hostess bar).  She hates that. She never has. There are some hostess bars with girls from the Philippines, so they think all people from the Philippines work at these places.
  2) Once a black friend of Mr. Walsh's went to a job interview. The girl at the front desk first ran away. After that she came back and told the black person to go home.
  3) An Su Feng has had many problems. People are sometimes very rude to her because she is Chinese.
  4) There is no law against racism in Japan.
  5) Once Mr. Walsh was attacked by a crazy man. When the police came, they thought is was Mr. Walsh's fault.

...but things are getting better in Japan...
