Hello. My name is Matthew Walsh. I am from Seattle, but I have been a language teacher here in Osaka for many years. My hobbies are bicycle riding, learning new things, and playing with my computer. I also enjoy music, theater, and movies. I have been to many countries such as Taiwan, China, The Philippines, Poland, New Zealand and Bali. I love to travel, learn about different cultures and meet people from different countries. I am lucky because I can speak English almost anywhere I go. You can too!
The 'English Activities/Games' section has many activities that you can do in your spare time. It also has activities from some of the books we use in class. The things we use in class are all in the 'Classes' section, and, as you can see, there is also a photo album and a BBS for students. (
Go ahead! Write something or add some pictures! )
Next, there is a page about a high school I visited in the Philippines, and there is also a section about studying in America or Canada during high school or college. Many sections have a 'listen' button. If you click on it you can hear my voice!
For my fellow teachers, there are a few humble goodies that I hope you enjoy, or find useful.
This is my first home page so I'm very excited!
If you have any questions or comments please email me with the link at the top of this page. Just click on the green button that says ' mail '.

Sincerely,
Matthew Walsh
